Convergence I (1 of 2) is an original acrylic painting on paper from The Echoes Collection.

The artwork begins with a single creative act. Acrylic paint is applied to one sheet of paper before a second sheet is carefully placed on top and gently pressed. As the papers are separated, two distinct yet inherently connected backgrounds emerge, each preserving the same first layer of paint and the same moment of creation. Once dry, the koi fish are individually painted, completing the pair.

The signature gold Echo is created using the same process. A single application of gold paint is transferred across both artworks before they are separated, leaving each painting with a portion of the original mark. This shared Echo identifies the works as a pair, preserving their connection even when they become part of different collections.

One day, Convergence I may hang in your home while Convergence II belongs to another collector elsewhere in the world. Though separated by distance, both paintings remain connected through their shared origin.
